Join the Good Intentions Foundation and Brighter Bites for our weekly G.R.O.W.T.H. Program Food Distribution, where we're helping nourish families while empowering the next generation of community leaders.

As part of the G.R.O.W.T.H. (Giving Resources, Opportunities & Wisdom to Help) Program, our youth participants are learning the importance of service by helping distribute fresh groceries, fruits, and vegetables to local families. This initiative combines leadership development with meaningful community impact, giving young people the opportunity to give back while addressing food insecurity in Prince George's County.

Each distribution is free and open to the community while supplies last. To help us prepare enough groceries for everyone, we encourage all families to register in advance through Brighter Bites.

Join Delegate Diana Fennell and Wanda Durant, in partnership with Good Intentions Foundation, Inc., for one of Prince George's County's largest back-to-school celebrations!

This FREE community event is designed to bring families together while connecting them with valuable resources, health services, local organizations, and a day filled with fun. Registered families will receive free backpacks (while supplies last), and everyone is invited to enjoy health screenings, community resource vendors, local businesses, family activities, food vendors, face painting, a moon bounce, and more.

G.R.O.W.T.H. Youth Mentorship Series

The G.R.O.W.T.H. (Giving Resources, Opportunities & Wisdom to Help) Youth Mentorship Series is a free 5-week summer leadership program hosted by the Good Intentions Foundation. Designed for middle and high school students, the program empowers youth through engaging workshops, mentorship, community service, and real-world experiences that help build confidence, leadership skills, and a vision for the future.

Throughout the series, participants will explore topics including:

  • Vision Boards & Goal Setting

  • Mental Wellness & Self-Love

  • Financial Literacy ("Money Talks")

  • Leadership & Communication

  • Career Readiness & Creative Expression

Youth will have the opportunity to connect with mentors, develop practical life skills, earn volunteer service hours, and make a positive impact in their community. Thanks to our partnership with Brighter Bites, participants who volunteer will also receive free fresh groceries while supplies last.
