DeJanee Fennell and Jeffrey Fennell Jr. lead Good Intentions Foundation, Inc. as a sibling leadership team grounded in service, compassion, accountability, and a belief that every person deserves the resources and opportunities needed to thrive.
What began as a commitment to meeting immediate community needs has continued to grow into a structured network of programs addressing food insecurity, clothing and basic needs, youth development, maternal and family support, financial wellness, education, community engagement, and pathways to greater stability.
Their leadership philosophy is simple: compassion must be matched with action. Through direct service, strategic partnerships, volunteer leadership, community-based programming, and strong systems of support, Good Intentions Foundation works alongside families rather than simply serving them.
In 2026, that commitment continues to deepen as the Foundation expands its programs, strengthens regional partnerships, engages young people as leaders, and serves as a trusted connector between residents, nonprofits, businesses, schools, government, and community institutions.

Throughout 2026, Good Intentions Foundation has continued building programs that respond to immediate needs while creating longer-term opportunities for youth, individuals, and families.
Backpacks & School Supplies
More than 1,500 backpacks and book bags with school supplies were distributed during the 2026 Annual Community Giveback, supporting students and families across the community.
Grocery Bags Through Youth Service
G.R.O.W.T.H. participants helped distribute hundreds of grocery and fresh-produce bags during summer community service, learning that leadership also means serving others.
Youth Leadership
Through G.R.O.W.T.H. — Giving Resources, Opportunities & Wisdom to Help — young people develop skills in wellness, financial literacy, leadership, career readiness, service, and creative expression.
Community Quarterback
Good Intentions Foundation continues its work as an ENOUGH Community Quarterback in Prince George's County, helping strengthen coordination, resident engagement, partnerships, and pathways to opportunity.
Supporting the whole person, the whole family, and the whole community.

Feeding With Hope
Expanding access to groceries, fresh produce, nutrition resources, and food assistance while connecting families to additional support.
G.R.O.W.T.H.
Giving Resources, Opportunities & Wisdom to Help youth ages 11–18 build confidence, leadership skills, financial knowledge, career awareness, and a commitment to community service.
Youth Advisory Council
Creating space for young people ages 13–18 to help shape programs, share their perspectives, develop leadership, and participate in community decision-making.
Good Mama
Supporting pregnant and postpartum mothers and mothers of young children through education, mentorship, essential items, activities, and trusted referrals.
Community Giveback
Bringing families, community leaders, sponsors, volunteers, and partners together to provide school supplies and resources while celebrating the strength of the community.
ENOUGH Initiative
Serving as a community connector in Prince George's County and helping build stronger collaboration among residents, partners, service providers, and public institutions.
Clothing With Care
Providing clothing and essential items with dignity while helping individuals and families navigate additional resources when needed.
Financial Wellness
Helping residents and young people strengthen financial knowledge, confidence, decision-making, and pathways toward greater stability.
Partnership & Community Engagement
Building meaningful partnerships with nonprofits, businesses, government, schools, health organizations, volunteers, and community leaders to expand collective impact.

Friends, Partners, and Supporters,
As we move through 2026, we are filled with gratitude for how far Good Intentions Foundation has grown and, more importantly, for the people who continue to grow alongside us. Every program, every distribution, every youth experience, every partnership, and every family connection reminds us why we began this work.
This year has been about strengthening the bridge between immediate assistance and lasting opportunity. We have continued addressing food insecurity and basic needs while expanding youth leadership, financial wellness, family support, community engagement, and collaborative initiatives that help residents move toward greater stability.
Our G.R.O.W.T.H. participants have spent the summer learning about goal setting, mental wellness, financial literacy, leadership, communication, career readiness, creative expression, and community service. More importantly, we have watched our young people discover their own capacity to lead. Through service opportunities, field experiences, mentorship, and hands-on learning, they have seen that their voices and their actions matter.
Through Feeding With Hope and our food-access partnerships, families have continued receiving groceries and fresh produce while our youth have had opportunities to serve directly alongside them.
Through Good Mama, Clothing With Care, Financial Wellness, and our broader family-support efforts, we remain committed to meeting people with dignity and connecting them with resources that address more than a single moment of need.
Our 2026 Annual Community Giveback was another powerful reminder of what is possible when a community comes together. Despite challenging weather, partners, volunteers, elected leaders, sponsors, families, and supporters worked side by side as more than 1,500 backpacks and book bags with school supplies were provided to young people.
Our role as an ENOUGH Community Quarterback in Prince George's County has also strengthened our responsibility to listen, convene, connect, and help build systems that reflect the voices and needs of the communities we serve.
We believe sustainable change requires more than one organization. It requires residents, community organizations, public agencies, schools, businesses, healthcare partners, and neighbors working together with shared purpose.
Giving with Good Intentions means meeting people with compassion today while building the structure, relationships, and opportunities that can strengthen their tomorrow.
To every volunteer who gave their time, every partner who opened a door, every sponsor who invested in our work, every parent who trusted us with their child, every young person who chose to lead, and every family who allowed us to walk alongside them — thank you.
We are proud of what we have built together, but we know there is more work ahead. As we continue through 2026 and beyond, our focus remains clear: deepen our impact, strengthen partnerships, improve how we serve, create opportunities for young people and families, and continue building pathways from instability to stability.
The future of Good Intentions Foundation is not simply about becoming larger. It is about becoming stronger, more connected, more responsive, and even more intentional about the impact we leave behind.
